From concept and initial design — both structural and graphic — through approval, prepress, production, and final completion, each stage of the process is carefully managed. Every step presents its own unique challenges that require precision and expertise.
At ACC and the CalBox Group, we have 10 custom packaging designers working with five CAD/CAM systems. Each of our facilities has its own structural designers using CAD-CAM, and the latest software style libraries. Our library includes over 2,500 box styles. With our know-how in file sharing and in effectively running these designs on world-class equipment, we can conceptualize a fresh approach that is attractive to the eye and structurally sound, as well.
Implementing box or display mock-up emulation, not imitation, is the key to an appealing, winning design. Complete 3D graphic integration allows for quick prototyping, eliminating communication errors and reducing design review cycles.
Utilizing CAPE and TOPS software, we analyze optimal palletization layouts and stacking strength to meet end-user requirements, with results presented as clear, visual reports that outline expected performance.
